The Atmosphere for Vision
Scripture.
Genesis 37:2 KJV
"These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report".
Message:
Genuine and long lasting vision originates from God. But it is interesting to know that it is not everyone that eventually locates that plan and purpose. It is when purpose is discovered that it is called vision. Vision remains just purpose with God until it is discovered. One of the reasons why many never discover their vision is the way they live and the atmosphere they live in.
There is an atmosphere that enhances the uncovering of vision, it is the atmosphere of the fear of the Lord. Joseph saw the evil done by his brothers and his spirit detested it and he reported them to his father. This character depicts the fact that, Joseph was displeased with their operations because he feared God. The proof that Joseph didn't join them was that he reported the events to their father.
His brothers were probably involved in fraudulent matters, they were probably selling off animals and lying to their father that the sheep died. If 2 sheeps died in 3 months, they would have told their father that 7 died and sold off the rest. Maybe they were stealing things from people's farm along their way. Maybe they were robbing people in the bush? How will they have heard God with such operations and character?
Psalm 25:12 (KJV) says, "What man is he that feareth the LORD? Him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose". The fear of God is to depart from evil, it creates an atmosphere where the Holy Ghost can speak to a person to reveal Gods plan and purpose. Joseph remained different in the midst of their evil deeds just the way you must make up your mind to be different in this evil world. No wonder Joseph began to have dreams and visions in Gen. 37v5,9. In this season, God will show you the things you need to see, in Jesus name.
Prayers and Counsel
Counsel.
(1) There is an atmosphere that enhances the uncovering of vision, it is the atmosphere of the fear of the Lord.
(2) The fear of God is to depart from evil, it creates an atmosphere where the Holy Ghost can speak to a person to reveal Gods plan and purpose.
Prayer.
Father, plant your fear permanently in my heart and show me your plan for my life, in Jesus name.

Job was a role model. He dwelt in ease, without neglecting Integrity and Fear of the Lord.
Genuine and Lasting Ease
One fundamentals of true ease is found in a spirituality that is sound and solid
The Fear of God
The depth to which you reverentially fear God is the depth to which God will direct your path
Your Choices Affect Your Seed
The quality of choices you make today determines the quality of the seed you will have tomorrow
God Will Not Choose For You
God will never at any point choose for you or override your will. In His graciousness, He will only show you the path. Whatsoever you do after that is up to you.
Tomorrow Begins Today
Tomorrow is closer than it seems, and the quality of our tomorrow is based on the work we put in today
Ease Is A Product Of Choice
We are made or marred by the choices we make. Our ease will not happen automatically, but will result as a product of we making right choices.
