"Then Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, I will be king: and he prepared him chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him".

 Message: 
 Vision is different from ambition. Vision is something orchestrated and initiated by God and not by human decision. Vision is always from God and focuses on helping and benefiting others. Vision is centred on helping others and giving glory to God and not self. Vision is something that God decided in heaven Himself even before you were conceived in the womb.

Ambition is a personal decision whose focus in majorly on self. Ambition is a work of the flesh, it is a limitation of destiny. Everything about ambition centres around how to gratify the flesh. ‭Our anchor scripture says, "Then Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself, saying, I will be king: and he prepared him chariots and horsemen, and fifty men to run before him" (1 Kings 1v5 KJV). It is impossible to exalt yourself, it is God that does these things through constituted authority. 

Vision is something that God decides in heaven Himself even before you were conceived in the womb. The beginning of vision is to go to God to search out the great and mighty things that He has for you that you don't know (Jer. 33v3). Vision is discovered but ambition is something that someone sat down, thought about and made a decision on. ‭Lamentations 3:37 KJV‬, "Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, When the Lord commandeth it not?

 People that have genuine vision are people who had other things they wanted to do with their lives, until God interrupted them to do what they are now doing. They are not people who are power hungry or wanted anything for their flesh. Kenneth Copeland was a pilot, Pst Adeboye was a mathematician, Bishop Oyedepo was an architect, Pst Enenche was a medical doctor, Paul the Apostle was a lawyer etc before God interrupted their journey.
