 "These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report".

 Message: 
 One of the reasons why a good and gifted person can remain irrelevant and in obscurity in life is because such has not discovered the reason why they were created. Vision pulls a person from the crowd into relevance. The spotlight of heaven is supernaturally attracted towards the head of a life that carries vision. 

 Jacob had a big family, the Bible began to talk about his family records (generations of Jacob) in Gen. 37v2 but started from Joseph. Joseph was not his first, second or third son, Joseph was the 11th son of Jacob. It is not fair to sidetrack his 10 senior brothers and then put him over them, it is uncalled for.

 But God is not partial, Joseph saw something that others didn't see. The Bible says in ‭Genesis 37:5 (KJV‬), "And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more". ‭Genesis 37:9 KJV‬ also says, "And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren,..". He saw it and pursued it, no wonder he became different from the others.

 It was the vision, passion and light burning within Joseph that pulled him from the back to the front and not his age. This is the same way David, who was the 8th son of Jesse, who was forgotten to be called for the anointing service was brought to the front line. Vision pulls people from the backside to the front line. Do everything under God to locate the reason for your existence.
