Serving God With A True Conscience
Scripture.
Hebrews 9:14 KJV
"how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Message:
The conscience functions under the department of the fear of the Lord. When a person fears God, he or she will possess a conscience that is alive and healthy. It is impossible to serve God properly without a conscience that is alive. People with a good conscience stays away from offences. Acts 24:16 (KJV) says "And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men".
When a person's conscience is dead, such a person can do anything and move on as if nothing happened. Terrorists kill people ruthlessly without them feeling anything. The beauty of a conscience that is alive is that, when you do wrong or make mistakes, God will be able to reach you so that you can retrace your steps.
The Holy Spirit gets across to us through our conscience. The Bible says in Romans 9:1 (KJV) "I say the truth in Christ, I lie not, my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost". The Holy Spirit will be able to reach out to us quicker when our conscience is alive. And it is impossible to serve God properly without a good conscience.
Until a person's conscience is purged, such will never be able to serve God properly. We are all work in progress even though we are born again Christians. One of the things that must differenciate us from unbelievers is the ability to turn back from a wrong route when we discover that we are wrong.
Prayers and Counsel
Counsel.
(1) It is impossible to serve God properly without a good conscience.
(2) One of the things that makes us different from unbelievers is the ability to turn back from a wrong route when we discover that we are wrong.
Prayer.
Father i submit myself afresh to you. Cleanse, purge and purify my conscience by your blood, in Jesus name.

Job was a role model. He dwelt in ease, without neglecting Integrity and Fear of the Lord.
Genuine and Lasting Ease
One fundamentals of true ease is found in a spirituality that is sound and solid
The Fear of God
The depth to which you reverentially fear God is the depth to which God will direct your path
Your Choices Affect Your Seed
The quality of choices you make today determines the quality of the seed you will have tomorrow
God Will Not Choose For You
God will never at any point choose for you or override your will. In His graciousness, He will only show you the path. Whatsoever you do after that is up to you.
Tomorrow Begins Today
Tomorrow is closer than it seems, and the quality of our tomorrow is based on the work we put in today
Ease Is A Product Of Choice
We are made or marred by the choices we make. Our ease will not happen automatically, but will result as a product of we making right choices.
