Luke 12:16,18-19 KJV‬
 "And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry".

 Message: 
 It is foolishness to labour and gather results without a definite and genuine connection to God. In this parable, this man was a rich man. He was not just rich, but he then invested and his investment yielded heavily, it was heavy and plenty. Never forget in your life that, life is first spiritual. Secondly, the spiritual controls the physical. 

 His plan was to store up his yield, take his ease and enjoy because he has results that can take care of him physically for many years. He had plans but his plans were very selfish, self centered and myopic. He had a very funny mentality. The Bible says, "But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? (Luke 12v20).

 The problem with this plan was that God was not mentioned nor involved in it. *It is your connection to God that guarantees the protection and preservation of your life, efforts and results*. It was Jobs commitment and connection to God in Job 1v1 that guaranteed the edge of preservation and protection that God placed around him that satan mentioned in Job 1v10.

 It was until God removed the preservative and protective edge that He placed around Job, satan could not tamper or do nothing to Job. It is the God factor that guarantees genuine ease, peace, rest and prosperity and nothing nothing else. Without putting God in the equation of your life, nothing is secured. As you make future plans of ease, make sure you are in tune with God. Follow Him obediently, this is what guarantees a future.
