 ‭‭ ‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭‭Luke 5:3-4 KJV‬

 "And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship. Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught".

 Message: 

 You have to be very careful and sensitive, whenever God wants to help you to make life easy and sweet for you, He can just show up and make a demand on you. Simon Peter was a professional fisherman that was frustrated because he fished all night and caught nothing. This is why it is important as a Christian that, as you are growing spiritually, your emotions and character must be forming and growing too.

 Peter was in a low moment, many things would be running through his mind as the day broke. Maybe he had bills to pay, maybe he was a part of daily contribution and was disturbed about how to meet up with the financial demands of that day and season. He was proned to manifest negative emotions at that time.

 It was at that moment, as he washed his net preparing to face his wife with the news of overnight toil without results, that Jesus stepped in and made a demand to launch his boat into the deep. Jesus wanted to use his boat as a platform to teach people. Peter could have reacted aggresively or snubbed him but God helped him to yield, he obeyed. 

 Whenever God wants to bring ease to you in uneasy moments, He comes with a demand, an instruction for you to do something for Him that will benefit others. When God wants to help you and make your life easy, it will not look like it in the beginning. You must be sensitive, calm and look beyond yourself and your immediate needs. You will not miss your defining moments in Jesus name.
