      OPEN DOORS AND FAVOUR

 Scripture.

 "I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name"

 Message: 
 Open doors are products of favour. And favour is something that God gives. Jesus did not just have favour with God and people, He also increased in favour. ‭‭Luke 2:52 (KJV‬‬) says "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man".

 If Jesus needed favour to access open doors, then who are we?Everytime we talk about open doors, we are referring to divine opportunities, supernatural and unusual access etc. All these are extensions of the favour of God. Favour is the secret of preferential and exceptional treatment, it is the secret of access. 

 We went to a particular bank recently, we needed physical cash for something. I was hearing on the counter as they told people, you cannot collect more that #10,000 (but you can go beyond that electronically).  We needed physical cash that was many times above that limit and wanted the figure in new notes and it was given from the same counter.

 There was nothing special or spectacular about us, it was just the favour of God. Sometimes, a person or group of people can be that door that you need. We wanted to see our Pastor (Dr. Pst Paul Enenche) this January, we heard he has over 2 million appointments already. But by favour which is help from above, the access was granted. 

 Jesus was the one speaking in Rev. 3v8, the one that said it is finished on the cross was the one speaking. It looks as if Jesus is saying, "..that i said it is finished does not mean you dont have a part to play in the matter, i didn't render you irresponsible". It was the effort of the philadelphia church that He saw that provoked the opening of their doors.
