 "For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries"

 Message: 
 There are different dimensions of doors, one of the types of doors that can be identified in the scripture is great doors. Great doors talks about great and unusual opportunities and openings. These are openings that may come once in a season and that are very rare. They are dimensions of openings and opportunities that are not common. 

 Great doors are usually charactarised by many adversaries. When they are opened, they usually breed adversaries. The word "adversary" is from the word "adverse" which means "enemy", "negative", "something contrary". The NIV translation says, "because a great door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many who oppose me".

 The MSG translation of 1 Corinthians 16:9 says, "A huge door of opportunity for good work has opened up here. (There is also mushrooming opposition)". Adversaries and oppositions are characteristics of great doors. Every great door, opening or opportunity attracts opposition. 

 The word "opposition" is from 2 English words, "oppose" and "position". Oppositions usually comes to oppose your position. You have to know who you are, where God has placed you and what He has given you. Take your place in destiny and dont allow the devil to tamper with your destiny anyhow.
