Scripture.

"I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name".

 Message: 
 When it comes to deliberate, effective and impactful kingdom service that has the capacity to open relevant and unusual doors, faithfulness is a major requirement. Faithfulness is a major requirement in Christian service (1 Cor. 4v2). People who are faithful in whatever they do are given access into unusual things and realms. 

 The king James translation gives us a reason for the open door, the word "for" means "because" or the reason for the opening. Jesus said, "..:for thou hast a little strength and hast kept my word, and has not denied my name ". It takes a faithful person to keep the word of God and to refuse to deny His name no matter what it costs. 

 The Goodnews translation says in Revelation 3:8, "I know what you do; I know that you have a little power; you have followed my teaching and have been faithful to me. I have opened a door in front of you, which no one can close". Because you followed my teaching and has been faithful, i have opened a door in front of you.

 Faithfulness in whatever is committed into your hands takes care of your future. The doors you can access tomorrow is dependent on how faithful you are in what you are doing now. Faithfulness is a character and attribute of God, it confirms your authenticity. People who are not faithful will never see anything that can last.
