  Psalm 136:17-20 KJV
 "To him which smote great kings: For his mercy endureth for ever: [18] And slew famous kings: For his mercy endureth for ever: Sihon king of the Amorites: For his mercy endureth for ever: And Og the king of Bashan: For his mercy endureth for ever:".

 Message: 
  The word of God shows us how both mercy and goodness are God's nature. The scriptures says in Exodus 34:6 (KJV) "And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,". God's mercy and goodness are both the nature and character of God. That is who He is, He does not try to act it, it flows straight from who He is. 

 Goodness and mercy are both the nature and character of God. The God we serve is a merciful God, one of the operations of mercy is that, "it clears out all hinderances and limitations on the path of the beneficiary". God's mercy sometimes operates like an escavator or bulldozer, it enforces God's plan despite limitations or hinderances. 

 The Egyptians and other great kings like Sihon king of the Amorites and Og king of Bashan all became like an hinderance and limitation to the progress and advancement of the Israelites. They became a stumbling block to the plan of God and God smote them and cleared them out of the way. It is important you know that vengeance must take place, so that you can see the fulfilment of Gods promises (Luke 21v22).

 There are hindrances that must be taken out of your way, there are people whose eyes must go blind and mouth shut, but there are others like Pharaoh, that until God lays them to rest, they will not allow you to go into the fulfilment of your destiny. In this season, mercy will handle every hinderance and barrier on your path and put them permanently where they belong in Jesus name.
