 "And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if that thou hearken unto the commandments of the LORD thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them:".

 Message: 
  The blessing of God is a lifter of the heads of men. Everytime and everywhere God wants to lift a person, one of the avenues He uses is through His blessing. Whenever God wants to shift and change a person's life completely, He organises a blessing for such a person at strategic junctions. If you are interested in being the head and not the tail, if you desire to be above and not below, then you need the blessing. 

 The scriptures says in Deuteronomy 28:1 (KJV) "And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:". Hearing and obeying God consistently is key to the Blessing. 

 The blessing of God is hinged on obedience to the word, instruction and voice of God. Many times, God's blessings flows from God through the channels that He has set and put in place. For example, never underestimate parental or priestly blessings. Anyone who underestimates it, will pay dearly for it later. There are people like Esau suffering today, who had earlier in life despised their blessing. 

 A lady going to her husbands home, an apprentice trying to graduate and start his own business, a believer trying to change church, a trainee pastor trying to start a fresh work for God etc are few examples of people that needs to pause and deliberately secure God's blessing over their life. The blessing of God takes people above and beyond, it is a lifter of lives and destinies.
