Scripture.

[2] "And he said, Take now thy son, thine only son Isaac, whom thou lovest, and get thee into the land of Moriah; and offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains which I will tell thee of".

 Message: 
  Gods instructions are specific and detailed, He will always let you know that He knows what He wants and what He is saying. In the case of Abraham, God asked for "his son", and goes ahead to say, "thine only son", and went further again to mention his name, "Isaac". He was letting Abraham know hes not talking about your Ishmael.

 God didn't stop there for Abraham, He went ahead to hit the nail on the head again by saying, "whom thou lovest". There are many mountains in that region, but God picked a particular mountain in the region of moriah. What is God saying to you and how are you going about what He is saying? Dont jeopardise your destiny by fighting Gods instruction. 

 The instructions that God gives are for our sake, they are for our future  preservation, protection and safety. They determine your provision and supplies in the seasons before you. God may not explain to you why He said what He said, He owes us no explanation for His actions. Never forget that He formed us for Himself, and not for yourself (Is. 43v21). 

 Over analysis and trying to figure out the reason for Gods instruction will paralyse, delay and mesmerise your actions. If you love yourself, whenever you hear God and you are sure, please move out promptly and obey Him. Until we get to heaven, you and i may never understand why God said some of the things that He said.
